Chinese food has the reputation for its color, scent, taste and design, as well as its varity.
As we know, China is very big country and it has abundant resources, varied climate and living habits in China. People form different places have quite different flavors of food, for instance, southerners like light food while northerners are on the opposite, Sichuan people like spicy food, but Shanxi people like sour food. As a result, many different food unique to certain areas are formed, among which that of Lu, Chuan, Huaiyang and Yue are called the ^^Grand Four Categories of Chinese Food^^.
The chinese people like to drink tea, and often entertain friends and guests with it. The tea-leaf is a necessity in the life of the Chinese people. China is the homeland of tea. The ancient Chinese first used it for medicinal purposes before developing tea as a drink. As regards the method of making tea, the Chinese variey can be classifed into green tea,black tea and ect.
